unbound geo vs peec ai

AI search analytics for marketing teams, tracking visibility, position and sentiment across assistants.

the short version

Peec AI is a marketing analytics product with more surface area than us and a sales conversation in front of the price. unbound geo shows you the exact sentence an engine produced, publishes every price and the provider cost behind it, and lets you start free without talking to anyone.

when to pick them instead

If you need sentiment tracking, a Looker Studio pipeline, or several projects managed side by side, they publish all three and we do not.

where we actually overlap

This is a direct category match and the closest competitor on this list by function. Both track whether assistants name you, both add competitors for comparison, both let you choose which models to track, and both surface the sources behind an answer. If you are choosing between us, you are not choosing between two different jobs. You are choosing how the answer is presented, what it costs, and whether you can see the working.

how to decide

find your situation, take the answer, close the tab

No scoring matrix and no weighted rubric. Most of these decisions turn on one fact about how you work, so the honest format is a list of facts and what each one implies.

pick Peec AI

  • You need sentiment tracked as well as presence
  • You want the data in Looker Studio alongside the rest of your reporting
  • You manage several projects and want them in one place
  • You want prompt suggestions with search volume attached

pick unbound geo

  • You want to know the price before you talk to anyone
  • You want the exact answer text as evidence, not a metric about it
  • You want to know how confident a number is before you act on it
  • You want your own AI agent querying the data over MCP
  • You want the company that measures it to also fix it

Every line above points at exactly one option, including the ones that point away from us. A decision guide where every branch ends at the same product is not a guide, it is a funnel with headings.

questions people actually ask

unbound geo vs Peec AI, answered

What is the difference between unbound geo and Peec AI?

Presentation and access. Peec AI is AI search analytics for marketing teams, tracking visibility, position and sentiment with CSV export, Looker Studio and an API. unbound geo leads with the evidence rather than the metric: the report carries the exact answer an engine produced, the model that produced it, the date, and every source it cited. Pricing is the other difference. Ours is published, from a free scan to 19, 49, 149 or 399 USD a month, with the measured per-call provider cost behind it. Theirs is not published; their pricing page names four tiers and asks you to talk to sales.

Which one is cheaper?

We cannot answer that honestly, because Peec AI does not publish prices. What we can state is ours, and we do, down to what each provider call costs us. If a published price matters to you, that is a real difference between the two products rather than a marketing point.

Does unbound geo track sentiment?

No. Peec AI lists sentiment alongside visibility and position; we measure whether you are named, where you sit against competitors, and what was cited to decide it. If sentiment is what you need, they carry it and we do not, and it would be easy for us to imply otherwise on our own comparison page.

Which one is better for an agency?

Depends on how you work. Peec AI is structured around projects with limits per tier and says it is used by agencies. unbound geo separates every client as its own tenant with its own export, which is stronger isolation, but there is no cross-client roll-up dashboard today and no white labelling. If one screen across a book of clients is what you need, that is a real gap on our side.

How many times do you ask each question?

Ten times on the consumer surface and three through the provider API, because two identical runs minutes apart agree on only 36% of the brands they name. Peec AI publishes a tracking frequency, which is a different axis: how often the measurement repeats over days rather than how many draws make up one measurement. Both matter, and confusing them is how a single answer gets read as a trend.

What we have not verified. We have not used Peec AI. Everything above comes from what peec.ai and its pricing page published on 6 August 2026, where four tiers are named — Starter, Pro, Advanced and Enterprise — with feature limits shown and no prices attached. We have not seen a quote and will not invent one.

are you in the answer?

Five real questions against a live answer engine with web search on, each asked ten times. That is fifty real calls, so the report lands in under ten minutes rather than while you wait. You see every question before anything runs, and you get the answer text, who got named and the sources the engine read, not a score.
